Review: Battlestar Galactica, Episode 4.2, "Six of One"

Oh, very nice indeed. I like the way the season has begun, and there were several nice plot twists here.

A Six leads a coup. Can a Cylon civil war be far behind?

Baltar talks to his newly discovered Inner Baltar. Baltar is either the unknown Cylon or insane...or possibly both. Which doesn't stop him from getting some more action, this time from a female Cylon (hasn't he slept with just about every female Cylon model except an Eight?).

Adama hedges his bets by giving Kara a ship to try to find the way back to Earth.

Review: Doctor Who, Episode 4.2, "The Fires of Pompeii"

Great episode. James Moran, writer of the Torchwood second season episode "Sleeper", delivers a compelling story and a thrilling climax. The BBC has always excelled at producing historicals, and this episode partly filmed at Rome's famed Cinecittà Studios is no exception. Good CGI effects again. Donna continues to grow into her role as a companion. Her stubbornness and conscience are just the traits the Tenth Doctor needs in a companion.

I really love the final scene that reveals that the Doctor and Donna are now worshiped by the surviving family as household gods, as well as the references to Spartacus, Fawlty Towers, Mary Poppins and the First Doctor serial, "The Romans".
