Tonight's Smallville was fun, introducing Black Canary to the show.

She's initially portrayed in a different fashion than in the comics, as a conservative talk show host by day and a supervillain for hire by night, but by the end it's revealed that she was manipulated by Lex Luthor into believing that Green Arrow and his team of superheroes were terrorists. Once that's sorted out, she joins GA's team and he appears to show some romantic interest in her, moving things back toward how she's portrayed in the comics.

Alaina Huffman makes a credible and sexy Canary within the context of the Smallville universe. Her costume is great, and even has a painted on mask as a homage to her original look in 1947, while her Canary Cry is awesomely brought to life through the power of visual effects.
